皆さんこんにちわ。

このごろ気温も高くなって晴れる日が多くもう春が着たのではないかなと思います。日本から書いてきてから三ヶ月余り就職が見つからず心配の毎日でした皆さんのおかげでやっとHyatt Regency Hotelでの就職が決まりました。仕事の内容はBell Attendantで昨日で二日目を迎えました。大きいホテルで全然前のホテルとは比べようがないくらい楽しくて忙しいです。従業員たちも皆とても親切で元気で自分の子と励ましてくれます。まだまだ学ぶことだらけですが一日でも早く沢山のお客さんに素晴らしいサービスが出来るように頑張ります。
どんどん遅れて申し訳ないですが間違いなく七月が終わる前までにはハウスワーミングを考えていますので築地ご連絡させて頂きます。宜しくお願いいたします。

Thank you very much for organising the activity for July. I love Onigiri and I was looking forward to join the Onigiri party but I found out that I work on the 5th July from 15:00 to 23:00. I got to tell you it is very interesting concept that you guys came up with.

Hi Everyone:-)
You may or may not know yet, we have decided to order new Happi this year.


A rough plan is to:

1.Gather designs and idea from current/former members and supporters.

2.Organise a costume making team (please see the 8. below for details.)

3.Discuss designs and idea within the costume making team.

4.Order Happi and Naruko pocket.
We are hoping to get new Happi and Naruko pockets by end of October at the latest.

Due to this project, there are few changes to our costumes. Please refer to the following for details.


1.New Happi and Naruko pockets
As new Happi will be simply a replacement of the current navy blue Happi, the design will have to be:

-Unisex
-Dosen’t limit to certain songs
-Basic ‘Happi’ style

Please refer to the 8. below for more details.
*Women’s costume (for ferns and umbrellas) will be the same Ukata costume as last year.

Although it depends on our budget, we are hoping to order Naruko pockets as well. Naruko pockets will remain as team’s belongings and will be rented to the members for events. The costume making team will make a Naruko pocket design that is easy to take Naruko out and put them back in and also doesn’t restrict the size of the person. If our budget doesn’t meet, we may have to make Naruko pockets ourselves.


2.Regarding our current Happi
a.Men’s Happi: As we purchased 3 more flags for men’s dance, we’ll make 3 more Happi for Men (we’ll have 8 men’s happi).

b.Ones in good condition (both the collar and the star): We’ll keep them for renting (school events, etc.). We may start asking for donation when renting Happi from now on.

c.Ones in bad condition: Use the fabric to make Tekko.


3.Head bands
We’ll continue to use the current head bands.


4.Tekko
As above mentioned, we will use the worn out Happi to make new Tekko.
(Therefore, our Tekko will be navy blue this year.)


5.Haragake/Matabiki (apron with Naruko pocket/white pants)
We will continue to wear the white Haragake and Matabiki until we get new Happi (about Sep – Oct).

We will NOT use these Haragake and Matabiki for the performance that we wear the new Happi.

The main reasons are:

1.We are running out of Haragake/Matabiki stock. If we use them this year, we need to order more stock.
2.We don’t have enough funds to order more stock.

There will still be opportunities to wear them for the members who joined this year.

*Buying used Haragake/Matabiki:
We have been buying used Haragake/Matabiki from the members who go back to Japan in order to maintain the number of stock. We will not buy anymore as we don’t want to keep stock. From now onwards (until we get new Happi), we will rent Haragake/Matabiki with some fee. (We’ll still sell them, if anyone wants to keep their own Haragake/Matabiki.)


6.What to wear inside the new Happi (Shirt, pants, shoes)
We will ask you to get a shirt, pants, shoes on your own this year.

In order to make it easy for everyone, the colour will be black. What kind of shirt (either T-shirt or singlet), etc. will be decided within the costume making group and will be announced to all.


7.Team T-shirt/singlet
Either we make team T-shirts (or singlet) this year will be decided within the costume making team.

As we are spending a lot on new Happi this year, if we do make our team T-shirt or singlet, current members who want to buy team T-shirts will have to pay in advance. Team will then order some extra for stocking.


8.Costume making team
By end of June:
Gathering designs and idea from current/former members and supporters.
Please give us your opinion by email, in person at practice, etc.
Your input can be a print out/file from the internet, your own drawing, by your own words (colours, fabric, length of Happi, etc.)

By end of 3rd weekend of June:
Please let Hitomi (yosakoinz@live.jp) know if you wish to join the costume making team.
It’s fine if you can’t do sewing but the primary condition is to attend meetings.
There will be many different idea, the final decision will be made within the costume making team.

First meeting will be held somewhere in the first week of July. Agenda will be:

-Going through all the designs, idea, etc.
-Designing Naruko pocket
-Making a schedule


9.This year’s Japan Day and Santa Parade

Japan Day: we will dance 07 and Eisa Soran (this year’s new dance)
Santa Parade: 07 only

Since our navy blue Happi are wearing out, we have decided to design and order new Happi this year.

Due to this project, there will be few changes to our costumes once we get new Happi. We are also organising a costume making team. Please read the following details (if you can!) and let us know if you think you could help us in some ways:-)

衣装係のＨｉｔｏｍｉです。
長らく愛用してきた法被も随分擦れてきたので、今年は思い切って新調することにしました。

現メンバーおよび、ＮＺ国外在住で１１月のサンタパレード参加をお考えの方、衣装が大幅に変わりますので、下記をごらんください。


また、法被のデザインは、新旧メンバー、サポーターの皆さんから広く募りたいと思いますので、下記の要点をご覧になった上で、衣装のアイデア、デザイン（文章、写真、絵、等々）をyosakoinz@live.jpまでお寄せください。

締め切りは、様子をみながら今月２〜３週目末を予定しています。


少し長いですが、↓が現在決まっている内容です。



１．衣装の新調について
今年は、法被と鳴子ポッケを新調します。
法被については、あくまでも現在ある紺の法被を新しくする、ということなので、

・男女問わず着れるデザイン
・曲を選ばないデザイン
・基本は「法被」スタイル

が前提となります。
法被のデザインについては、衣装制作委員会を発足して、全体から広く募ったアイデアをまとめる予定です。
詳しくは、↓の項目８をご覧ください。

＊女衣装は、昨年使った浴衣衣装を引き続き使います。

鳴子ポッケは、腹掛けに代わるものとして、注文する予定です（予算次第ですが）。
個人所有ではなく、法被同様チームで保管し、イベントごとに貸し出すことになりました。
鳴子の出し入れが簡単で、着用する人のサイズにあまり左右されないデザインを制作委員会で考えます。
予算が足りなければ、自分達で作ることになる可能性もあります。



２．既存の法被について
a. 男踊り衣装：旗用の風呂敷も購入したので、予定通りもう３着増やして計８着揃うようにします。
b. 襟も☆マークの状態も良いもの：貸し出し用として保管。今後は貸し出す際にドネーションを求める（確定？）
c. 襟も☆マークもボロボロのもの：スソ等の無地の部分を手甲に再利用する。


３．はちまきについて
今年は、既存のものを使います。

４．手甲
２．の通り、紺の法被の布を再利用して作り直します。
ということで、今年の手甲は紺色です。

５．腹掛け・股引き
新しい法被ができるまで（今年の９〜１０月まで）は、白の腹掛け・股引きを使います。
新しい法被には、腹掛け・股引きを使わない方向でいく予定です。主な理由は、

理由１：腹掛け・股引きの在庫が数少なくなっており、今年も使うには追加注文が必要であること
理由２：新しいメンバーへの販売を前提にチームで費用を立て替えて追加注文するほどの予算がないということ

です。
今年に入って新しく購入した人については、９〜１０月までのイベントでしっかり使ってもらおう、ということになりました。
また、買取に関しては、在庫数を維持するために買い取っていたので、今後は買い取らないことになりました。
今後、新しいメンバーで腹掛け・股引きが必要なイベントに出る人がでてきた場合には、使用料をいくらか徴収して貸し出すことにします。
（思い出として買いたい、という人があれば、こちらで中古の買取はしないことを了解してもらった上で販売します。）


６．新しい法被の中に着るもの（シャツ、パンツ、くつ）について
新しい法被の中に着るものは、各自で揃えることになりました。
なので、揃えやすい色、ということで黒のシャツ（Ｔシャツ・タンクトップかは、制作委員会で決定）、パンツ、靴で揃えます。

ということで、中に着るものが黒、手甲が紺、ということを踏まえて法被の色・柄を考える必要があります。


７．チームＴシャツ・タンクトップについて
今年、新しく作るかどうかは、衣装制作委員会で決定することにしました。
今年は法被に予算がかかるので、作るのであれば、既存のメンバー内で欲しい人を募り、前払いにてオーダーすることが条件となります。



８．法被・鳴子ポッケのデザイン募集・衣装制作委員会について
６月２〜３週目まで：衣装制作委員会の参加希望者を募ります。
　　　　　　　　　　　　裁縫ができなくても大丈夫ですが、ミーティングに参加できることが条件です。
　　　　　　　　　　　　色々なアイデアが出て当然なので、最終決定権は、（スタッフミーティングではなく）　衣装制作委員会にあります。
ミーティングに参加せず、アイデア募集期間を過ぎて後からアレコレ言う人の意見は割愛させていただきます。
　　　　　　　　　　　 委員会参加希望者は、Ｈｉｔｏｍｉまでご連絡ください。


６月７日：練習時にチーム全体にデザイン募集を告知します。
　　　　　ネットやその他の媒体で見つけたもの、自分で描いたもの、色・生地・裾の長さの希望、等をメールなどで私まで寄せてもらいます。
アイデア募集は、現存のメンバーのみでなく帰国したメンバーやサポーターの皆さんにも声をかけていきます。


６月３〜４週目：制作委員の集まりやすい日時・場所を決めて、第１回制作委員会を行います。
　　　　　　　　主な議題は、

　　　　　　　　・全体から集めたデザイン、意見の検討
　　　　　　　　・鳴子ポッケのデザインについて
　　　　　　　　・衣装制作のスケジュール作り
　　　　　　　　です。
９．今年のジャパンデー・サンタパレードの衣装について
ジャパンデー：演舞は07とエイサーソーランです。
サンタパレード：演舞は07のみです。

「日本から来る旧メンバーのことも考えて、腹掛け・股引きのままの方が良いのでは？」という意見もありましたが、今年更に新しいものを購入してもらわなければならないのではなく、各自で黒いシャツ・パンツ・靴があれば良いので、負担としては無理のない変更ではないか、ということでそのように決まりました。

May is inches away and so as our activities. So we have decided to do Razor Strike for our activities on sunday the 17th of May.(We will have practise as usual from 11 to 12:30.)
It will start around 2'ish at Mega Zone(15 Rose Road), Ponsonby. The admission would be $8/1 game and $10/2 games.If you are intereted, let us know as soon as possible by send your reply on bbs or tell me in person at the next practise.
